I have used the same image, but coloured it to match the backing papers, that were in my stash. Really quite plain and simple, but when you are making a few of them they have to be, quick and easy too.
This one was for Jack's teacher, and because Mr Garnham is a huge Charlton Athletic FC fan, I got him a Charlton mug, and personalised Charlton coaster from ebay to go with the card.
The we have another card using the same image, but a different layout and colour scheme for Mr Parmenter, one of the teaching assistants. Wasn't sure about the colour scheme for this one, but it is what Jack chose, and acutally it does work together, so a good result in the end.
I wasn't sure about making a box to give a man, but actually it came out really well, using a square top. Again I have used the same papers and card for the box, and coloured the image to match as well.
Having made 4 cards using the same image, I wanted a change for Mrs Pullan, who is also a teaching assistant in Jack's class, so went for this digi, which would have been a freebie from somewhere a while ago, and am really pleased with how the card and box came together.
From what I gather from Jack, the gifts and cards he gave to his teacher and teaching assistants yesterday were well received, so all the hard work making them all was well worth it.I'd like to enter these cards and gifts into the following Challenges:
