TEACHERS GIFTS - part 1

I like to give the teachers a little something at the end of term, since they have had to 'put up with' my two for the last year (love them really!), and since we are off to the states over the summer, money is a bit tight, so I decided to make a card, and gift box for Harry's tutor.

Not sure if it is the done thing to give gifts at High School, but at Harry's school they have the same tutor for the 5 years they are at the school, assuming they don't leave during this time. Ms Mitchell is lovely, and really taken to Harry and help him a lot to adjust to being at High School.

I've been meaning to make this gift box for ages, and it was an ideal opportunity to make one and put some chocolates in it for Harry's tutor. I followed this tutorial and have to say it was really easy to make, and I loved playing with colours and papers for the design.

To go with the box I made a matching card, which again I am really pleased with.
