A Small Favour Box

A couple of weeks ago, I saw on Sarah's blog, some really pretty favour boxes she had made, and looking at the link for instructions on how to make them they seemed really simple, and would be a good way to use up some largish scraps I had.

It just so happened that I had a meal planned with some friends last weekend at a local restaurant and thought it would be great to have some after dinner chocolates with coffee, so I spent an hour before going out, and made these.

I was really pleased with how they turned out, and managed to squeeze 3 twilight mint chocolates, and 4 mini cadbury dairy milk squares into each one.
The photos doesn't show the colour very well, but the cardstock is fushia pink, and I have used baby pink dotty paper, and gemstone card to cut the butterfly and large scalloped oval the butterfly sits on. As a bit of decoration on the flap I have used a MS border bunch, and the butterfly was cut with a MS punch. The scallop ovals and butterfly was attached to the box using 3d pads at the bottom with the top flap being held shut by the top of the butterfly/scallops.
These were quick and easy to make, so will make more in the future.

I'd like to enter these boxes into the following challenges:
Flying Friesan's MSE challenge - something Aminalistic
One Stop Craft Challenge - plain and simple
Paper Crafting Journey - things with wings
