I finally got a chance at the weekend to try out the Promarkers that I bought recently. After winning the Incy Wincy Blog Challenge a couple of weeks ago, my prize was 3 digi stamps from Squigglefly, and this was one of the ones I chose.

I have used a white square card, and used some deep purple cardstock as a base colour which I ran through the cuttlebug with the daisy embossing folder. I have matted the image onto a scalloped circle cut from some purple gemstone card, so there is a bit of a glittery effect to it.

I have used the same deep purple card to punch out some flowers, and added a gemstone to the middle of the flower to give it a bit of sparkle. The ribbon and sentiment were from my stash.

I'd like to enter this into this week's Birthday/Celebrations Challenge at CRAFT, and the One Stop Craft Challenge - Birthstone, Amethyst.

  9. Hi Caroline,
I like your use of purple--usually I find it so overpowering and difficult to manage in a card--but you've done a really GREAT job :)

Thanks for playing with us at OSCC!

    Have a great day,
