RECENT CARDS

Here are some more of the recent cards I have had to make, over the last couple of months. I love this baby one, and although I find making the pram up quite fiddly, I love the effect you get. All the things used in this card are from my stash.

This one is a birthday one for my BIL's partner, who really like it.

Any this was was for a work colleague of my husbands. The story behind it is that for his birthday a big group of us went camping to the woods for a weekend - back to nature and all that, and my OH decided to that as a present he would by him a fancy dress outfit of the father from the Incredibles. This is a mock up of what he looked like that I did on the computer, but the thing is Paul is only about 5ft 5" and the outfit was huge on him!

I never know what to do for boy's birthdays, so the easiest thing I have found is to use 'wordle', and base the card on the football team that the kids like, so here is an Arsenal one that I did for my cousins little boy.

I'M BACK

I have been awol for a while, and have seriously neglected my blog. Many reasons for it - lost my card making mojo, had a few problems with work, and having the kids home on 6 weeks holidays from school, means that I haven't had much of a chance to do anything other than try to keep them entertained. Since I last posted back in May, I have made a few cards which are below.

The thank you ones were for my son's teachers/teaching assistants at the end of term:

Not sure what all the papers are, as they are from my stash as are all the peel offs, ribbons and flowers. All the cards were accompanied by home-made brownies and chocolate chip cookies, which were very well received.
